Stough Creek
Basin, Wyoming
I backpacked
to this area in August 2006 and spent 4 days exploring and
fishing the
dozen large lakes and 30 small ponds in the basin, all in
the shadow of
Roaring Fork Mountain. This lake represented our
southernmost
trek into the basin, and was among the most beautiful
of all that
we visited. We were lucky to have a nice, clear day to see it.
