Like many remote
mountain lakes, the 7 Chill Lakes are not
individually
named. This is one of them. I was gifted a beautiful,
clear day on
which to explore this basin with my dogs, Frank and
Makenzie, who
are supreme hikers with few wants and who never
get tired. There
are no official trails to these lakes, which makes
them all the
more rewarding to get to.
