008 - Rainbow

Dave and I backpacked in 13 miles from the old Rainbow Lodge,
simulating a
trip many tourits took by horse back in the 1930's, to get to the
east side of
Rainbow Bridge. Beyond the calm and quiet of this side lies the
boat-fed tourist
viewing spot on the west side, loaded with dozens of people
almost all day
long. From this side, however, we couldn't even hear their voices.
