006 - Rainbow Bridge, Utah
World's largest natural bridge. Worth the hike. This is the view from the
east side of the bridge. Most people boat in and see only the west side of
the bridge since placards direct people to remain on the viewing platform.
However, a permit from the Navajo Nation gets you official permission
to hike in from the east and see both sides, if you like. For scale, which is entirely
lost in this image, I can only describe a photo taken ca. 1930, taken from
about this same angle and distance,  which shows 6 tourists standing on
top of the bridge appearing as no more than specks.
